The Morgan Supersport was launched in 2025 to huge fanfair, winning rave reviews from the motoring press, culminating in it earning a hugely commendable 6th in EVO's car of the year.

The Model

The Morgan Supersport was designed to be the ultimate way to spend time behind the wheel of a Morgan. The project started out as a mid-life update to the Morgan Plus Six, but ended up being so much more than that to the point where it needed to be re-homologated. This is not just a Plus Six with a new look, it has become far more useable, features a far stiffer chassis allowing the car to have a very supple ride balancing outstanding dynamics and refinement, all whilst ushering in a new era of contemporary design for Morgan.

The Supersport prioritises driver engagement and driving theatre over the blind pursuit of power and laptimes which many mainstream manufacturers seem to be engaged in chasing. That being said it is still no slouch and offers huge performance thanks to its lightweight nature and BMW powertrain, it just ensures that it remembers to put a smile on your face and set your heart racing. The Supersport delivers its power brilliantly with a real confidence inspriring sure-footedness, ensuring forward momentum is instant and enjoyable and when it comes to corning the light, ultra-stiff chassis delights in the bends and delivers constant feedback to the driver. The brakes too are very inspiring and bring you to a safe controlled hault whenever required.

The Supersport delivers on practicality too, with a boot (a Morgan first!) able to carry some soft luggage or the easily removable side screens for more thrills. There is also a very useful luggage area behind the seats and the ability to fit a luggage rack atop the boot. A tour around the UK or further afield into Europe would be an absolute joy in the Supersport.

This Car

This being the first Ranmore specified Morgan Supersport, you can understand that we studied the options list carefully to ensure we have best specified Supersport to celebrate our appointment as a Morgan retailer. The car has been specified as follows:

• Edelweiss Green - A stunning colour that really shows off the Supersports silhouette and contour lines.
• Chocolate Pebble leather - The dark brown leather really compliments the exterior colour.
• Black box weave carpet - The box weave carpet adds a real luxurious feel to the cockpit and being black will ensure key areas are easier to keep clean.
• 19" Aerolite forged alloy wheels - Morgans lightest ever wheel will ensure unsprung weight is kept minimal. We're also a huge fan of the large flat design of this wheel which really compliments the art deco nature of Supersport.
• Dynamic handling pack - This pack gives the Supersport adjustable Nitron dampers so you can tune your car either for comfort or for more spirited driving.
• Dark accent pack - Adds some darker details to the bodywork and side screens.
• Heated seats -Who can resist a heated seat? It allows you to play more with the roof down!
• Morgan wings logo - Additional embroidery in the headrest, just a special touch.
• Connectivity pack - Gives the Morgan bluetooth phone connectivity and wireless phone charging.
• Sennheiser sound system - The standard sound system is good, but the Sennheiser upgrade is very special indeed. If you are into your music this option is a must.
• Sports exhaust - Another audible upgrade. Ensures the very best soundtrack to every drive, it really does sound great.
• Luggage rack preparation - This car is ready to accept a luggage rack should you chose.

The above options are of course on top of a generous standard equipment package which includes air-conditioning, bluetooth music streaming, remote central locking, traction control, ABS, powersteering, automatic transmission and much more.
