Some thoughts on this model
The Masai red body panels are almost completely original, although the keen-eyed amongst you will spot the missing hinged number plate on the rear tail gate: evidently at some stage this has been replaced....do not fear, we have a correct one you can purchase.
The interior is as it left the factory with little wear or damage evident. The roof lining is in unusually good condition as are front and rear PVC floor coverings. The factory-supplied Panasonic radio also remains as does the car's original and complete tool kit.
Adding to this car's overall appeal is a comprehensively stamped dealer Passport (rare) with service history up the present day, together with original Mot's certificates back to 1982 supporting the current mileage of 64,000.
Having just covered over a 150 miles I can vouch that the V8 performs exceptionally well across country and easily copes with motorways courtesy of its optional Fairly overdrive - power steering has also been added.
To make life easier for those of you are proposing a sympathetic restoration, I will include the following parts: 2 replacement front outer wings, 2 rear quarter panels (only one appears in photos) and 2 rear corner light panels.
I cannot stress how rare these unmolested examples are now becoming.
Further detailed photos are available. The car can be inspected in Guildford, viewing is by prior appointment - please call 07788 865700.
