Some thoughts on this model
Registered by the supplying dealer, AFN Porsche London on 1st January 1989, this is one of the best optioned Carrera's I have come across. The car is finished in unusual & unblemished Linen Grey metallic, whilst the interior has blue piped linen leather seats with nicely contrasting blue door cards; the body sits on a set of near perfect coloured coded 16 Fuchs wheels.
This car has an unusually high factory build specification, the full list is as follows:
All bar one service, which was carried out at AutoFarm, this 911 has a complete OPC history; the service booklet contains 22 AFN Porsche stamps - recently serviced within the last 350 miles, by Porsche Guildford.
This car has every single MOT verifying its current mileage of 80,800 miles.
The wonderfully comprehensive and valuable history file is collated in a bespoke folder, that not only contains a Porsche GB Certificate of Authenticity, but as previously mentioned, every single MOT and almost all OPC service invoices, plus correspondence between previous owners too.
Being a later car it evidently has the superior G50 gearbox and to help with security, there is fully functioning official Porsche immobiliser fitted (rather than the more common aftermarket fit) with dual set of keys.
In summary, this is a cherished car unchanged from factory specification that has been maintained correctly by Porsche and drives faultlessly as a result. Quite apart from the rare colour combination and strong options, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a car with a superb provenance and genuine low mileage.
