A genuine matching numbers 1960 Porsche 356 T5 Roadster, Chassis # 87471 was delivered new by Porsche/VW agents of Colorado, Vern Hagestad, to its first owner in 1961 and remained the current owner was told, within the same family for the next 52 years.

The history file contains the original 1961 order form & invoice and states their salesman 'Mudge', ordered the car on behalf of a Mr Sidney Dong, of Denver Colorado with reclining seats, seat belts for the sum $3696.48 including a 12% discount!

Beautifully restored in 2011, the original 1600cc 60 bhp engine has been fully rebuilt and recently dyno'd at 76bhp at the wheels. With literally zero miles since a thorough inspection, service and additional works at Paul Smith's excellent PRS, this very pretty Roadster is completely on the button and a delight to drive.

This delightfully rare and exceptional Roadster comes with its owner's manual, aforementioned original 1960 paperwork/invoices, plus a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and V5 registration document.
