Some thoughts on this model
The car subsequently returned to the UK and was the subject of a full body-off chassis restoration at the same time as being converted from left to right hand drive prior to being registered for use in the UK in 2011.
In addition to the restoration work completed, a large file of accompanying invoices from renowned marque specialists show significant improvements being made to help benefit driving and usability.
A Vicarage power assisted steering upgrade together with the fittment of front disc brakes and four-pot callipers transforms its driveability, as does the large aluminium radiator and Kenlowe fan which helps to ensure that the car can be used with confidence over long distances, something the previous owner can attest to having used the car extensively throughout several tours of Europe.
Further monies were well spent with the fittment of a five-speed gearbox which allows the car drive superbly over long distances with 90mph being achievable at just 3,000rpm.
Finished in its original factory specification pastel green, the bodywork is in excellent condition as is the vitually unblemished Forest green leather interior having been retrimmed back in 2011.
