Guernsey racing driver Sebastian Priaulx very successful competed in the Ginetta Junior Championship during 2017 driving this G40 where he came second in the championship. Sebastian is the son of triple World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx, and was backed by UK car insurance provider, 1ST CENTRAL throughout his first season. Sebastian went on to win races in single-seaters in the F4 British Championship before making the move into the British GT Championship in 2019 with Multimatic Motorsports.
