Austin Seven Ulster Trails Special

1929

Austin
A quite lovely Austin Seven Ulster that has been built to a very high trials specification by Steve Hodgson of the highly renowned SMH Services, actually his own car so way beyond the norm, insomuch, he's gone to town both on the engineering and mechanicals and has raided his 'special bits' box too, making it both highly competitive and desirable.

Some thoughts on this model

A quite lovely Austin Seven Ulster that has been built to a very high trials specification by Steve Hodgson of the highly renowned SMH Services, actually his own car so way beyond the norm, insomuch, he's gone to town both on the engineering and mechanicals and has raided his 'special bits' box too, making it both highly competitive and desirable.

The car has loads of power and stops very well, so would be ideal for road use too. The Seven has only competed two small trials and about 300 miles since its total rebuild and won the best in 'replica class' at Beaulieu last year. A really super Seven that's completely ready to actively compete or one to simply enjoy on the road.
