This particular 'Bergwerk Black' N400 manual roadster has covered just 16,000 miles with a fully documented Aston Martin service history and is certainly in near perfect condition throughout.

Noteworthy improvements in styling, performance and handling were offered over the standard car, the most prominent of these being an increase in power to 400bhp from the 4.3 litre V8.

For the first time, a 'Sports-Pack handling upgrade was also fitted as standard to the N400, (something previously reserved only for the DB9). Majority of these improvements were developed from their race success and extended to the A.M Sports-pack, which offered uprated suspension and fast-road geometry provided via revised springs and dampers. This helped produce more focused handling ability whilst retaining the level of ride sophistication one expects from an Aston Martin road car.

Together with new lightweight, diamond-turned alloy wheels the appearance of the car was further enhanced by the use of wider, lower side sills. Aside from mirroring the stance of the N24 race cars, these provided the N400 with an instantly more aggressive appearance on the road. The use of clear rear light lenses and contrasting silver bonnet grills and side vents also helped differentiate this strictly limited edition from the more standard variants of the Vantage.

Numerous interior updates included heated memory seats, satellite navigation & a Premium 700W sound system being offered as standard, plus a unique 'spun metal' dashboard. The limited edition features of the car were enhanced further with the embroidered pattern of the 'Nordschleiffe' on the centre armrest and individually numbered sill plaques which display the limited edition number of each model having been built by hand and help to make the N400 stand out from the standard version of the Vantage.

Given the increased production volumes of modern day Aston Martins, this N400 represents one of their rarest models, then add condition, low mileage, manual transmission and the special order Bergwerk Black paint, all of which significantly advance the appeal of this car.
