One of it's numerous attractions is the substantial amount of major works that were under taken just prior to it's acquisition. I have a detailed invoice of these works but the major items include but are not limited to, a full engine rebuild to 4.2 Litre unleaded specification with 4 Litre value sizes and a 9.7 compression ratio, together with a balance crank, con rods, pistons, crank damper, clutch and flywheel. The gearbox was overhauled too using new synchros, bearing and seals.

The end result is that it drives exceptionally well with the engine performing very strongly indeed. The oil pressure is excellent whilst the water temperature remains impressively low, courtesy of the new electric cooling fan and temperature sensor that was additionally fitted. Amongst other items that enhance the driving pleasure is the electric power steering....fully adjustable and a huge bonus in terms of the cars driveability.
